  About Me:

          MEDIA: COFFEE and/or WINE on watercolor paper; Wire, gems, glass beads and rocks for wire-wrapping projects

THEMES: Images of Philippines, Dreamlike and Enchanted Visions, Whimsical, Ancient/Tribal elements, among other things.

PRODUCTS: Paintings on watercolor paper (mounted upon request), free-handed notecards, traditional and corner bookmarks for giveaways, wire-wrapped jewelry and mobile wire arts.  
                  
YOUR ARTIST IN THE RAW: 
I started drawing with my father as soon as I was old enough to hold a pencil (what is old enough for me? 12 months? *teehee*). His idea of playtime and bonding time was the Drawing Guessing Game, way before Pictionary came out). I still do the drawing guessing game with little kids. I think we need to tap into their creative, inferential and expressive skills early on. It matters a lot to shaping one’s character for later in life.

That said, I’ve been a preschool teacher, a freehand glitter-tattoo artist for parties, a face painter for theater productions, an illustrator for abstract reasoning/visual requirements for IQ tests (yeah, I know, that was restricted and boring for me), and I’m still dabbling in other careers that fall off the easel: hula dancer, blogger/writer, wifey and stepmom, plus a regular deskjob in between.

Now I’m having a blast "coloring outside the lines", writing a children’s book on the side while I give birth to artworks done with coffee and wine on watercolor paper (properly sealed with clear fixatives for quality). I also make wire-wrapped jewelry on crazy days and experiment with make-up on even crazier days. 

Every artist has a dream, mine is to be known as a "WINE AND COFFEE ARTIST" especially in the Bay Area. I am looking forward to do interesting projects or basically just a venue to exhibit my works for those who will be interested.
